Your comfort zone is your enemy, it’s to stop you from succeeding and hold you back.

What’s holding you back? What’s making you unproductive? What’s destroying your motivation?

Your comfort zone is holding you back, making you unproductive and destroying your motivation.

People that are not productive is because they’re in their comfort zone, they don’t want to face fear and reality.

We all love to get comfortable in life, not face any challenges and not care about our success. We actually do care about our success, we all want to do something productive but our comfort zone stops us from getting to our goals. When you get too comfortable in life, life will hit you by getting out of your comfort zone and be more responsible. Nothings easy in life if you want something. Staying in your comfort zone is not a solution to achieve your goals. Your comfort zone doesn’t help you with your motivation, it makes you unproductive and keeps you in the same situation.

Ways to get out of your comfort zone 

If you’re struggling with your motivation, stepping out of your comfort zone is the key to help you with your motivation.

The ways to get out of your comfort zone:

  1. Do something different
  2. Change your routine
  3. Change your habits
  4. Be productive
  5. Take actions
  6. Go to bed early
  7. Wake up early
  8. Think positive
  9. Self-discipline
  10. Stay motivated

It’s going to be hard to step out of your comfort zone because your mind is so used to of doing the things you usually do. You get into the routine of doing the same old thing all the time, running around the circle and not make any progress.

Doing something different is a way to step out of your comfort zone.

For example, you want to be a professional free runner, how are you going to be good? Being consistent, try new things, do something different that you’ve never done before. If you do the same move and going to the same spot, you’re not going to get better and you need to try something different. Getting out of your comfort zone is about trying new things. People that are good at something, they push themselves and overcome fear. If you want to be a professional free runner or a skateboarder, you got to be very brave and fall loads of times until you can do it.

  8. Push themselves

Skateboarders fall over all the time and that’s how they get so good at doing tricks on the skateboard. If you want to be a skateboarder, you have to take the risk of falling, hurting, injuries and overcome fear. The fear is your comfort zone. You do something that you’re comfortable with and not take any risk of failing. You know, skateboarders and free runners, they get out of their comfort zone to get better at doing tricks. Being stuck in your comfort zone is not going to help you improve your performance. Your comfort zone is to hold you back, stop you from progressing and destroy your motivation because you’re scared of taking the risk.

What are you scared of?

We all got fear in ourselves but you got to fight it.

Face your fear and get out of your comfort zone 

If you want to be successful, you got to get out of your comfort zone and stop doing something that you’re comfortable of.

When you’re too comfortable, you become unproductive, lazy and not want to take any actions because it’s too much effort and that’s how you procrastinate.

When you’re getting too comfortable and when reality comes, that’s when life hits you with a brick because you don’t know what reality in life really is.

In reality, life is hard, we all have to sacrifice ourselves to work hard to get to our goals, and face fear because we all scared of what life really is.

When you’re in your comfort zone, you don’t care about everything in life. You like to relax and not think about work just want to chill all the time. Unfortunately, you have to work hard to achieve your goals. When you’re in your comfort zone, you don’t really think about your future, what are you learning and what are you going to do. You got the fear zone, that’s when you step out of your comfort zone and realise what reality really is. If you got your own house to live, you definitely will have to get out of your comfort zone if you’re living on your own. Think about all the bills you be paying when you have your own place. You got to pay rent, pay the bills, pay the gas, electricity, water, insurance, mortgage and TV license if you like watching TV. You have to pay all that money for your house, so you have to work very hard to look after yourself and the house. You have to learn how to cook, learn how to read letters, learn how to wash your clothes, learn how to iron your clothes, how to fold your clothes and you have to do a lot of housework.

Life is tough and stressful, but you got to get over it and do it.

Nothings easy in life.

Be proactive and get to your goals 

We all have goals to set that can help us to get out of our comfort zone. To get out of your comfort zone, you got to be more proactive and take actions. You got to remember, your goals are not going to come to you, you got to do it and make the move by taking actions. Taking actions like learning a skill that can help you stay motivated.

Your comfort zone is:

  1. Doing nothing
  2. Chilling
  3. Relaxing
  4. Watching TV
  5. Playing computer games
  6. Going on social media
  7. Partying
  8. Hanging out with friends
  9. Lying in bed
  10. Sleep

To get out of your comfort zone, you should go to bed early and wake up early feeling motivated.

Sleeping too much can destroy your motivation to achieve your goals.

Waking up late will destroy your motivation to get to your goals because it makes you unproductive. If you’re not a morning person then this article can help you. When you wake up late, it makes you not want to do anything, it makes you feel lazy and want to stay in bed all day. It’s going to be hard to get up early in the morning because your body is so used to of staying up late and wake up late. You got to change your morning routine to a productive morning routine if you want to be a morning person. Try and go to bed earlier, less watching TV, less going on your phone because that can ruin your sleep.
Waking up early in the morning gives you time to do the things that are important to you and it gives you the motivation to work hard. Being a morning person is good because it makes you feel motivated. When you wake up early in the morning, you can go out for a run, do some exercise to keep fit and clear your mind. You can at least have the time to learn a skill that helps you to achieve your goals. You can spend some time on your online business, writing more articles and keep up the good work.

  1. Lately, I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone. It’s not been easy, considering I always do the things I’ve done. But you have some really pointers here to help me learn some new tricks. One of the things I will try is the new challenges. I’ve had many come my way, but jumping into something different is hard. But your post is very motivating. 

  2. At first, I didn’t realize there was more to the page until I scrolled down and discovered it was actually an article. But, after finding out about what the article was about and continued to further read, I found this to be encouraging and helpful. However, the pictures are quite large and almost divert from the main topic. I also would’ve like to have seen more in-depth explanations of each of the pieces of advice you gave and maybe a description of something you’ve experienced yourself. Overall a very very good start and I’m excited to see it grow further.

  4. Ah the comfort zone. It means  different things to different people in terms of where your comfort, or more accurately, your discomfort threshold is.  While I like your list, that describes what the comfort zone, it misses, I think, a common word from the front of each and that is excessive.

    The reason I say this is because I believe life is about balance, and you know what sometimes its ok to be a couch potato the problem becomes when that is all you are then there is no balance and for me balance is everything.

  5. I often do not step out of my comfort zone, I stick to a routine that I am comfortable with and done usually. This was a very refreshing to read and reminded me get comfortable being uncomfortable – that is where we find growth. I am definitely a big dreamer and spend much of my time dreaming about where I want to be but unable to get out of my comfort zone! Thank you for sharing this post with us, it definitely helped me greatly.
