Selling your time for money (building your employers dreams)

About 90% of people in the world are still selling their time for money just to pay the bills, 10% of people are making money online and they are successful.

There’s better ways of making money not by selling your time for money, working loads of hours to exhaust yourself.

When you finished work, your too tired to do the things that you really want to do because.

  • You had no time for yourself
  • No energy left
  • No time to spend with families and friends
  • Your job controlled your life
  • Your being treated like a slave

Why are people still making money in the traditional way? It’s because the society is like this, we’ve been taught to be employees and it’s part of the law.

We have been bought up to be slaves.

If you don’t want to work like a slave and building your employers dreams and making them rich, you should get out off your corporate job, get out off your normal life, it’s not going to give you happiness.

I noticed a lot of people where I work are not happy because their being stuck in the office, working in a job that their not passion about, waking up every morning Monday to Friday just to earn a salary so they have enough to save for a roof cover over their heads.

Other than that they don’t have enough money to buy a new house if they move out.

This is a problem about being an employee, you can’t control your money, how much you really want to earn, you get paid what you get.

Building your employers dreams (making your employers rich)

I work for the agency (Meridian business support) and I used to work for The Best Connection until they changed the contract and the company.

The picture there is where I work, I work in the aerospace where they build planes and helicopters.

It’s a engineering environment and I work in the stores as a picker and packer.

The job I work is alright, not the best because it gets repetitive just like most jobs are, you do the same thing everyday and no motivation to make you want to work.

I don’t really like my job because I feel like I’m being treated like a slave, being restricted from work, being trapped in the same place, doing the same job and building my agencies dreams.

I work for the agencies so I’m building their dreams because they employ me to work for them, the agencies make money from the people they employed. This is why my agency is called “Meridian business support” because it’s all part of their business, their business are the recruitment team, they help people to find jobs.

The people that works for them are making them money, building their dreams and making them rich.

I want to be an entrepreneur so I can build my own dreams, not building Meridians dreams.

I want to show them that I can do better than them, not being a slave to them.

I feel like being a slave towards them so I’m creating this post so I can inspire you that you can do better, not by selling your time to the employer, building their dreams and making them rich.

If you don’t start your online business now, your more likely to be employed and being trapped in the same job, making your employer rich, not you. You get paid what you get, you can’t control how much you want to earn to buy your dream place or dream car. Your going to be employed to be slave, you do this and do that, you go on break at this time, come back on time and you go home when your shift is finished.

Our parents, friends, society & school system

If your parents, uncles, aunties, cousins, brothers and sisters and friends tell you don’t start online business and tell you this.

  1. Don’t do online businesses, they are scams and they try to con you.
  2. It’s too risky and don’t do it.
  3. Play it safe and don’t take risk.
  4. You should get a job and work hard.
  5. Safe money for your future so you have enough to safe.
  6. If you want to be successful, you should work hard.
  7. Work for years and years until you retire.
  8. Be like your cousin who is hard working at his job, he’s got a university degree and he’s got a good job.

This is the kind of things they say to you if you want to start your entrepreneurship. They will say it’s all risky and all that.

Don’t just listen to them, just do it and it’s your choice, you make the decision, not them.

The people who tells you don’t start your entrepreneurship, they are not successful people, they don’t want you to be successful, they want you to be like them to have a normal life and a normal job. Working in a 9 to 5 job, selling your time for money and working like a slave just to earn a salary which is not how you want to live your life. You want your life to be exciting, get to travel more and do what you want and not what they want you to do.
BMW are my dream cars and I love BMW. They are expensive cars, this BMW is 34 grand and I can’t afford it. Hopefully one day I can afford it if my business is successful then I can prove to Meridian, look I got my business now and I can do better so you don’t have to make me a slave anymore now.
In the society and the school system it’s not been taught to be entrepreneurs. I really want to inspire people to stop listening to their bosses, the people who told them don’t do it, it’s risky and that’s just making you not believing yourself because your trusting them to play it safe not take the risk. I hope you enjoy my blog and thanks for your time.

  1. Hey Gordon, Thank you for writing on the Selling your time for money (building your employers dreams).  I learn a lot while reading and enjoying your article. In society and school system no body taught to be entrepreneurs. After completing my Graduation I hear the entrepreneurs. Now I am inspiring people to stop listening to their bosses and believing yourself. Anyone with positive attitude and with passion can become entrepreneur. Your guide is very helpful and motivating.

  3. Hi Gordon, thank you for sharing the story. I can relate to you. My parents don’t really like the idea of me trying to work online. For them, conventional corporate wrok is the way to be successful. Brick and mortar business is another alternative if I have enough money to start it. I am willing to learn and do legit training to be succesful in this field, so I will check the audiobook. Thanks

  4. Thank you very much Gordon for the article that is ALWAYS motivating from you. I learned a lot from you about the world of entrepreneurs. Because I feel you are a true entrepreneur, while I’m still far from you. I am still an employee competing in the rat race (working 9 to 5).
Maybe, all this time I only dared to dream and didn’t have the courage to come out.
And maybe, one day I will try.

  5. Nothing reduces a man’s self believe in his worth than having to do the same thing over and over again just to see another person. Though not everyone realises they Steve others and dmsell their time to fulfill other people’s goals. With time, I started realising that there is more to life than just seating and working my ass off for another man’s dream. It is high time for me to do something for myself too. Thanks

Thank you so much for the awesome post!  I really enjoyed reading this, and it was very inspirational.  It’s so true that if a person wants to start their own business, even online, they should do it, even if they are opposed by family and friends!  It is very rewarding and I highly recommend it!

  7. Hello Gordon, I just finished HND and about to serve my country. I have worked in time past and it’s not something I actually want to get involved in again after my service. This is because I have big dreams and my salary even if it’s huge cannot help me reach my goals because they’re biggg. For me to reach my big goals, I need money and time too so I have decided to work on my online business that I am about to launch while I serve my country. I am sure before I will be done with service, I’m should be earning some amount that are encouraging and I will continue at that pace.

Thanks for sharing this; it’s enough trading my time for money and helping someone build his own empire. As a matter of fact, what they pay isn’t even worth my time and they’d probably fire me someday.

    Regards!

  9. I am with you on this topic. You get to a point where you realize that what you are doing when you work for other people is selling your time for money.

I am now 56, and I have finally decided to become my own boss. I believe each of us has a lot to offer to the world. You have to find your passion, believe in yourself, set up clear goals, and work hard to achieve them.

To do this, you have to become an entrepreneur and leave the 9 to 5 rat race. It will not be without sacrifice because it is going to be a lot of hard work. But I know it is going to be worth it in the long run.
